Sunstone Leadership Group, led by Tiffany Friend, IPMA-SCP, ACC, blends deep corporate experience with a passion for helping individuals and organizations grow. With two decades in business and human resources leadership, Tiffany has spent much of her career guiding leaders through challenges, fostering self-awareness, and unlocking both organizational and individual potential.
Certified by the Center for Executive Coaching and the International Coaching Federation, Tiffany also holds Senior Certified Professional status with the International Public Management Association for Human Resources. She brings depth in strategic planning, leadership effectiveness, and organizational development. Her background spans start-ups, scale-ups, small to mid-sized businesses, local government, non-profit boards, utilities, specialty trade contractors, and youth sports organizations. Whether clarifying strategy, navigating complex organizational dynamics, or strengthening leadership capability, Tiffany’s approach is practical, grounded, and built for real-world impact.
Tiffany holds a BS in Business Management from Western Governors University and a Human Resources Management Certificate from San Diego State University. She brings a unique blend of academic rigor and applied leadership experience to every engagement.
Outside of work, Tiffany finds inspiration in the outdoors - hiking, backpacking, and off-roading fuel her sense of adventure and resilience. She’s deeply committed to continuous learning, meaningful conversations, and connecting with others who share a drive for growth and leadership excellence.

The Vikings were known for navigating the rough and uncertain waters of the North Atlantic. One tool they’re believed to have used was the sunstone - a crystal said to reveal the sun’s position even through clouds and fog. It helped them find direction when the sky offered none.
That same spirit of clarity in the unknown inspired the name Sunstone Leadership Group.
